Formula For Accepted Prayer

#Formula For Accepted Prayer :-
==============================
Narrated Abu Huraira(Ra): A man entered the mosque while Allah’s Apostle (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) was sitting in one side of the mosque. The man prayed, came, and greeted the Prophet.

Allah’s Apostle said to him, “Wa ‘Alaikumas Salam (returned his greeting). Go back and pray as you have not prayed (properly).”

The man returned, repeated his prayer, came back and greeted the Prophet. The Prophet said, “Wa alaika-s-Salam (returned his greeting). Go back and pray again as you have not prayed (properly).”

The man said at the second or third time, “O Allah’s Apostle! Kindly teach me how to pray”.

The Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) said, “When you stand for prayer, perform ablution properly and then face the Qibla and say Takbir (Allahu-Akbar), and then recite what you know from the Qur’an, and then bow with calmness till you feel at ease then rise from bowing, till you stand straight, and then prostrate calmly (and remain in prostration) till you feel at ease, and then raise (your head) and sit with calmness till you feel at ease and then prostrate with calmness (and remain in prostration) till you feel at ease, and then raise (your head) and sit with calmness till you feel at ease in the sitting position, and do likewise in whole of your prayer.”

And Abu Usama added, “Till you stand straight.

#Short Commentary:-
==============================
From the above Hadith we came to know the method of acceptable prayer…in This Hadith our beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) Instruct his companion to Pray salat calmly and slowly as it is the way to engage our concentration (Khusu and khudu) in salat by not being rushing through the posture of our salat and by being attentive to Qur’an,tasbhee and Dua we’re reciting in salat and it also help in pondering over what has been recited.

And Another thing we came to know that the Respect and love the companions (RadiAllahu Anhuma) have for Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) is so immense that The Sahabi (Ra) doesn’t question the Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) about O Messenger of Allah( SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam)…. what was wrong with my prayer instead of saying this he Sahabi (Ra) eagerly fulfill the command of Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam)… After the companion (Ra) repeating the salat third time in his best known way ask his teacher Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) “O Allah’s Apostle! Kindly teach me how to pray”.

Then the Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) says Pray calmly as mentioned in the Hadith… This doesn’t means that the Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) is harsh with his companion no it doesn’t means that but…. As a teacher He (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) taught the thing to his companion in a way that it permanently engraved in their hearts. With regards to the Nature of Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) the companion (RadiAllahu Anhuma) and Abdullaah ibn Haarith(Ra) often said, “I never came across a person who smiled as much as Prophet Muhammad and the Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) gave much importance to his every companion that every companion think that I am more dear to Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam).

And the Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) is the first one to greet when someone came to meet him and he (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) when shaking hands with the companions doesn’t withold his hand first until and unless the companions (RadiAllahu Anhuma) Withold there hand’s first….this is the few good characteristics of Prophet (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam).

With regard to Praying hastily The Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam) said An example is the hadith of Abu Qatada who stated that the Prophet [May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him] said,

“The worst type of thief is the one who steals from his prayer!” The Companions asked, “Oh Messenger of Allah [May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him]! How does one steal from his prayers?” The Prophet [May Allah’s peace and blessing be upon him] responded, “He does not complete his bowing, nor his prostrations.” Or he said [May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him], “He does not straighten his backbone while bowing and prostrating.”

Therefore The believer should not rush when prostrating, Bowing or qauma (Between two prostration) or on standing after bowing; rather he has to settle in the position, as this is one of the essential parts of prayer and is necessary. Yet it is prescribed not to pause to long (in any position) and not to rush, and he should offer du‘aa’ whilst prostrating and repeat the words Subhaana Rabbiy al-A‘la. What is obligatory is to say it once, but repeating it three or five or seven times is better.

If you are Praying alone it is permissible to pray a long Prayer by making long sajdah,Ruku,qayam and dua according to one’s ability and interest.

#Dua :- May Allah Almighty Grant us Ability to pray our salat according to the teaching of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam)…Ameen…!!!
